Welcome to Kabanga Nickel.Located in the north-west of Tanzania, the Kabanga Nickel Project hosts the largest development-ready nickel sulphide deposit in the world for the major production of Class 1 nickel, as well as cobalt and copper by-products.Kabanga Nickel's planned cradle-to-gate mining and refining operations will produce vital battery metals in-country with a purity that is ready for end-use while creating economic growth for Tanzania through our local partnership company – Tembo Nickel.By adopting hydrometallurgical refining technology, rather than the conventional and energy-intensive route of smelting, our production will be greener and more cost-efficient than industry standards.
