Fue miembro del Colegio Venezolano de Productos de Seguros, habiendo participado activamente en la Reforma de las Leyes de Seguros y Reasegurados de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela. Eufracio Gelves inicia sus actividades en Seguros ORINOCO en 1985 para luego en 1992, tomar la representación de Seguros Internacionales.
