Dr. Jerry Sobel is a board certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician specializing in the treatment of acute and chronic neck and back pain, nerve pain in the arm or leg, and the non-operative management of orthopedic problems involving the shoulder, elbow, hip and knee. He also performs EMGs, a test used to diagnosis nerve injuries. Dr. Sobel performs pain relieving procedures such as epidurals and facet joint injections in the spine as well as in-office joint injections guided by ultrasound. Dr. Sobel believes in a comprehensive approach to the care of his patients and takes into account the physical, psychological and social aspect of each person's illness.
