The Institute is a leading center of human genetics in Poland and a valued partner in extensive cooperation with institutions in the country and abroad. The main research areas of the Institute are cytogenetics, molecular genetics, cell pathology, reproductive biology, mutagenesis and biotechnology. Research conducted at the Institute also covers issues related to transgenesis, epigenetics, genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics.
