Working in the family bakery back in NYC, Joe also learned the baking trade from his father; but his heart remained in Nona's kitchen. After receiving culinary training at CIA NY & working with many chef's; Joe started his first business with Dagwood's Restaurant following with Avanti's Pizzeria & Dakota's Catering. KC, Joe's wife, started out as server in her teens with Hotel Sofitel; working her way up to food & beverage management by her early 20's in restaurants, catering & banquets. Together Joe & Kassie Guzzardi team up to serve you with over 60 years combined restaurant, catering & banquet experience. In addition to featuring fresh Italian American cuisine based on many of Joe's family recipes (Northern & Southern Italian influence); we also offer hand cut, natural steaks and delicious, flown in fresh seafood... be sure to try our dishes we have created with a local NM flare featuring NM Green Chile & Harvest Chile. May we recommend the perfect finish to your meal: A locally roasted espresso with a traditional cannoli (Papa Joe's very own recipe; respectfully).
