PeoplePlus is one of the UK’s leading employability and skills providers, and the founder of the Social Recruitment Advocacy Group (#SRAG). The SRAG has driven the establishment of the Social Recruitment Covenant, which will officially launch in Autumn 2024. Our purpose as an organisation is to help people transform their lives, get jobs and keep jobs and develop their careers. In December 2022 we achieved our ambitious mission to make a direct difference to the lives of 1 million people since 2018. We did this through our unique range of sector-leading public services and innovative employer solutions. We run employability programmes, facilitate adult education training courses to enable people to move into work, as well as being the largest independent provider of prison education in the UK. We operate in 22 prisons to deliver high quality education services, helping prisoners to develop the skills they need to access work on release. We work closely with hundreds of employers across the UK to realise the impact social recruitment can have on their business. We champion the recruitment of people from disadvantaged backgrounds, supporting and enabling them to bring out the best of their ability.
