In research, the team of the Chair focuses on close cooperation with business practice. At the same time, we see ourselves as thinkers in the further development of theoretical and empirical approaches to marketing. Companies and institutions alike appreciate the scientific expertise of the Chair and its role as a sparring partner who is not afraid to think out of the box. The cooperation between the Chair and business practice takes multifaceted implementation strategies, such as practical projects of our students, the allocation of master theses, the preparation of case studies for companies, the conduction of workshops, consulting projects, the support of innovation projects and even the foundation of new research groups. Prof. Kirchgeorg is a welcomed speaker at conferences and expert panels. He serves on supervisory and advisory boards of leading companies and institutions. As a mentor, he and his team accompany company start-ups and he is himself active as a founder with the "mission2impact" transfer platform.
