El-Nasr for Utilities and Installations (NUI) was established in 1973 – in 1993, the company's legal form was amended to become an Egyptian joint stock company. In 2006, Madinet Nasr for Housing and Development (MNHD), a leading real estate development company, has acquired NUI and became the major shareholder with a 98%. The acquisition triggered a reformation wave in the company and the board of directors was restructured in 2011. NUI provides engineering, procurement and construction services on large, complex and demanding projects including water/sewage and transportation projects for public and private customers. With an emphasis on infrastructure contracting, NUI has built an exceptional track record. We have undertaken large and complex projects ranging from water treatment plants to roads throughout Egypt.
