Kennedy Plaza alone serves thousands of families from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds every day as they commute, work, and play.BUILDING A DOWNTOWN PARKS SYSTEMPromoting Green Space and Public Health in ProvidenceDPPC advocates for the creation of a downtown parks system that will increase the availability of green space in the city. The park system will consist of approximately 54 acres spread over 2 miles. Through Conservancy support, these new spaces will become a positive place for civic engagement and recreation..
