Adobe Flex Builder is used for developing customer facing UI (both AIR & SWF).• Designed the architecture for the next generation of the service for being highly scalable and fault tolerant.• Hands-on software development in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript & Adobe Flex: • Designed and developed a feature that would email a user his/her user id & password (when they forgot his/her user login/password). • Designed & implemented a frame work for adding on-line services such as playing games, weather reports, and other services.• Using this new infrastructure; added 4 interactive games & 3 additional services including a News feed reader, an mp3 player, and YouTube player. • Responsible for setting up software development & deployment environments: Installed & configured Apache web server, Ruby on Rails, MySQL & phpMyAdmin, & Adobe Flash Media Server on Linux. Made the servers secure by setting up SSL certificates, setting up firewalls (iptables), & securing SSH port.
