Within the past five years PMI's focus has expanded from commodity ingredients to including natural, innovative products, due to the increasing demands of consumers for new and clean label options. Whether it is for ingredients, product development, or assisting with private label projects, at PMI we work with our customers' R&D, Purchasing, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Marketing teamsPMI's ideation sessions are offered to our customers, covering topics from market research and consumer insights to our own ingredients and capabilities. From these sessions we are able to understanding our customers' requirements and objectives, allowing us to effectively work with them to develop cost effective product solutions from concept to shelf or field to table. We present these innovations and finished products to the private label teams to meet their objectives, whether it is through custom solutions or positioning products in specific categories.
