The Faculty of Food Science and Technology had its humble beginnings in 1976 with the establishment of the Department of Food Science and Technology under the Faculty of Agriculture. Currently, there are three departments under the Faculty of Food Science and Technology; Department of Food Science, Department of Food Technology, and Department of Food Service and Management.
