From humble beginnings as Axiom Plant Hire in 1971, founder Peter Schembri began providing backhoes to replace sleepers for the Victorian railways. Today, RMS offers an extensive fleet of earthmoving machinery and road rail vehicles (also known as Hi-Rail) for all types of rail work, from maintenance and renewal activities to construction. RMS also has a comprehensive catalogue of specialised rail attachments.
