AJS ACOUSTICS is a Santa Monica based corporation that specializes in acoustics. We offer comprehensive acoustical consulting, design and measurement services in the areas of architectural acoustics, building systems noise and vibration control and environmental noise. We work with architects, engineers, contractors, end users and owners to provide practical solutions to acoustical challenges encountered on projects. Our extensive knowledge allows us to provide professional services in acoustic measurements, environmental noise, room acoustics design, sound isolation design, acoustical design of HVAC systems, as well as noise/vibration control of mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment. We will collaborate with the design team and the client to ensure the goals and needs of the project are met within the allotted schedule and budget. Michael SantaMaria, founding principal of the firm, has provided professional acoustical consulting services for over 17 years and has worked on nearly 200 projects throughout the United States. Internationally, he has consulted on projects in Europe and Asia. His work over the past 12-years has focused on architectural acoustics and building systems noise/vibration control design for a variety of market sectors including: civic, education (primary and higher education), entertainment, health care, hospitality and performing arts.
