Per quanto ne sappiamo, la più antica testimonianza diretta di una distillazione alcolica è quella di Taddeo Alderotti, famoso medico bolognese del Duecento, nel suo libro Consilia. Che si conclude così: "Virtutes huius aque multe sunt", cioè "molte sono le virtù di queste acque".Il progetto nasce dalla fusione di due importanti realtà del bere miscelato italiano, il Barz8 di Torino e la Casa del Rum di Follonica. All'interno di questo contenitore confluiscono eccellenze alcoliche, in parte selezionate, in parte direttamente prodotte. Il nostro catalogo attualmente comprende: le selezioni La Casa del Rum, il gin Be8, la vodka Consilia, il vermouth Riserva Taurinorum e i cordiali ApoJuice.Potendo controllare interamente la filiera produttiva, i nostri prodotti vantano alti standard qualitativi.
