Omega Chi Epsilon is an American honor society for chemical engineering students. This society is represented by the letters "OXE": Order of Chemical Engineers. OXE has over 60 active university chapters and total membership of roughly 20,000 members. To be deemed eligible for this chapter, the student has to have junior or senior standing with a minimum CGPA of 3.25 and 3.00, respectively.This organization falls under the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS). It aims to achieve recognition, investigation, service, comradeship, and with these four bounds together to achieve professionalism.Omega Chi Epsilon shares many goals with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), what distinguishes the OXE is the honor aspect that lies in recognizing and fully supporting high-achieving students.
