The application and technology-oriented AWARE Center is available to industry, universities of applied sciences and other research institutions in Bavaria and Latin America. AWARE supports the establishment of international research structures in the field of engineering sciences, especially in our main areas of expertise around mobility. Our goal is to provide transfer of knowledge and technologies as well as international perspectives to young engineers. Contact us for more information and let's build up our community together!Our strategic university partners are: Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC): The UFSC is a public university located in Florianópolis city, capital of the state of Santa Catarina – Brazil. Founded in 1960, it aims to promote teaching, research and extension, the Brazilian term for Third Mission. UFSC has 15 centers that cover a wide spectrum in the field of professional formation, offering 118 undergraduate courses and 131 graduate courses that currently serve a universe of more than 46 thousand students. Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR): Founded in 1912, Federal University of Paraná UFPR is considered the oldest university in Brazil. UFPR has currently 56,035 students, of whom 40,591 are undergraduate students, 9,126 are graduate students on master's or doctoral programs, and 6,318 graduate students on professional certificate programs. Universidad Tecnológica Nacional (UTN): The UTN was founded in 1959 and has 85000 students currently. Science and Technology Development at UTN is carried out in more than 33 Centers and 66 Research and Development Groups. The projects are organized thematically in 14 programs of priority research and development lines.
