The mission of Black Wall Street-Phoenix (BWS-PHX) will be to carry on the legacy of Black Wall Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which was destroyed by terrorist action in 1921. We seek to do this with a dynamic three fold approach: •Community Education •Business PADS- Promotion|Advocacy|Development|Support •Implement and maintain an African American Business network and district We will be working with the City Council, Local Businesses, Community Organizations and Individual Citizens to determine the best, most practical way to make this plan a reality for the betterment of the community. The goal is to support existing African American/Black Owned Businesses and encourage more African American/Black Americans to embark in entrepreneurship, start their own business which will provide jobs for the community. We seek to make Black Wall Street-Phoenix the hub and example for African Americans/Black Americans in the business sector by offering numerous services to our members, such as valuable, discounts on Web|App|Graphic Design, Video Creation, Internet Marketing, and DIY Training's. We will encourage people to shop at African American/Black-owned establishments both locally and/or online if the product is not available on a local level. We will also be hosting several events throughout the year to encourage and support both the fine and creative arts, holiday festivities, Grand Opening Extravaganzas, and a celebration of the diversity that exists within the African American/Black Community, as well as in the City of Phoenix as a whole. Although our target audience is the African American Community, anyone is welcome to take advantage of the services we offer. Our aim is to better the community regardless of which community it is. Therefore, we welcome all nationalities, ethnic groups, faith based organizations and businesses.
