About BGCNCNCThe Boys & Girls Clubs of North Central North Carolina is a community based, characterbuilding organization that serves Franklin, Granville, Halifax, Vance and Warren counties.BGCNCNC creates a fun and safe environment for youth to learn, play, meet new friends andgrow. From sports, arts and media to group activities and tutoring, the Clubs provide caringadult mentors, friendship, and high-impact youth development programs on a daily basis duringcritical non-school hours. Priority programs emphasize academic success, good character andcitizenship, and healthy lifestyles to area youth each day. Whether it is learning how anindividual can make a difference in his/her community or learning how to swim – the Clubs striveto help youth feel important and put their dreams of a Great Future within reach.About Boys & Girls Clubs of AmericaFor more than 150 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA.org) has enabled youngpeople most in need to achieve great futures as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Today,4,300 Clubs serve 4 million young people through Club membership and community outreach.Clubs are located in cities, towns, public housing and on Native lands throughout the country,and serve military families in BGCA-affiliated Youth Centers on U.S. military installationsworldwide.
