The Citizens' Band Association (CBA) was a political campaigning group formed to press for the legalisation of Citizens' Band Radio (CB) in the United Kingdom. It was formed in 1976, became the largest group campaigning for CB in the UK, and was formally wound up a short time after it successfully achieved its aims.\\The CBA's constitution defined its function as a single-issue campaign group. Accordingly, when its campaign was successful it disbanded and, after a seven year wait to ensure that no unexpected liabilities showed up, it remaining funds were donated, according to its constitution, to the Institution of Electrical Engineers(IEE) Benevolent Fund.
