Freelance writer and editor, photo journalist As a writer I specialises in travel, tech, history/culture/trends, work/life balance, health/medical, food & wine, sme/soho business, sport/animals I have edited many high level books, magazines, and other publications including the pregnancy hit of the 90s, 'Conception, Pregnancy and Birth' with Dr Miriam Stoppard, published by Dorling Kindersley, and the bloodstock magazine Pacemaker, which has since been bought by Owner & Breeder. I have also edited a number of medical books aimed at medical professionals/students - Vet Anatomy of the Cat & Dog' with London Vet School was one such, Anatomy of the Heart with Bob Anderson was another, and I also worked on more populist medical books, such as 'Woman's Body', 'Menopause' and 'Stress'. On the magazine level, I have edited many company magazines, most notably 'Citylife', a glossy A4 monthly for CityLink, and What's teh Future, a tech and gadget-focused monthly glossy for eBuyer. I have also worked on a number of sport publications, including ones on horseracing, horse eventing/showjumping, bloodstock, football, rugby, tennis and motorsports, including launching a brand new glossy bloodstock magazine in 2009, International Thoroughbred.
