Compassion for Humanity Int'l Group Inc. (CHIGI) is a Non Profit Organization that is working towards community development and empowerment by tirelessly encouraging communities to identify areas where we can make the most impact in alleviating poverty in the region. We are geared towards providing sustainable livelihood and entrepreneurial programs, skills development for young people and out of school youth and assisting in social work in isolated areas.We get children out of the streets and enroll them in our partner schools, so we can provide hope and opportunity for them to be able to fend for themselves in the future.We have continuous feeding programs and provide nutrition education and counseling to teach correct meal planning that can result to better nutrition and better school performance for students in school.We distribute school supplies at the start of every school year. Aside from backpacks full of school necessities, we also distribute flip-flops to children who come to school barefoot.We try our best to respond quickly during disasters and calamities with emergency aide and food distribution and at the same time coordinate with community leaders in order to meet the urgent needs.We provide comfort and entertainment to prisoners through our visitation programs with the assistance of our volunteers and registered members.Through volunteers from across the region and out patrons, we aim to go beyond just sending food, clothing and basic necessities to deprived areas. We are soon launching sustainable livelihood and entrepreneurial programs, skills development for young people and out of school youth and assisting in social work in isolated areas.
