In 2009, Dana Spinola, CEO & founder of fab'rik, realized that our incredible fab'rik addicts not only wanted to shop their favorite looks, but they wanted to be a part of something bigger than themselves. She knew that there was a way for girls in need to experience the thrill of boutique shopping, but without the pressure of price tags. fab'rik customers and the community came together, collecting hundreds of bags of clothing, each with a greater purpose than could be served hanging in their closets. The result was and is something amazing, free fab'rik. At free fab'rik, women are invited for a free shopping spree at our Dream Boutiques, and receive beautiful clothing and assistance from volunteer stylists' who help the women regain their confidence as they dress for success. Dana's belief that clothing can change lives is evident with the confidence built in these women during the shopping sprees. Dream Boutiques began as a dream our free fab'rik team thought was impossible. free fab'rik provides women in need a space to experience the full fab'rik in-store experience. There is something so inspiring and special about all-white walls, racks filled with clothing, mannequins dressed head to toe, and tables filled with the most beautiful pieces that these women in need have never experienced before. We wanted to bring that experience to them, and we did.
