Motivated by an intense desire to serve the poor and neglected children living in a slum called Mitumba, GOYA was founded by a group of ambitious young adults with a very clear mission: to radically change the community of Mitumba with the hope of Christ. Providing for physical needs such as nutritious food, water, hygiene, and medical treatment are just a few of the ways we achieve this. But our work extends beyond the physical needs of people. In order to make lasting change we must provide spiritual encouragement, education, and a system of localized self-sustainability; empowering Kenyans, and more specifically those living in Mitumba to help others living in Mitumba.GOYA Ministries is a group of individuals hungry for hope in Christ and it's life changing power and willing to pursue it.
