The Hoop-A-Paluza Foundation provides support to local charitable organizations that focus on promoting the health and well being of children in New Jersey and New York. Hoop-A-Paluza also aims to instill philanthropy in children through programs that involve children in fundraising and volunteerism, while exposing them to different charities, the services they provide and the people they serve.Each year, Hoop-A-Paluza seeks to provide grants to qualified nonprofit organizations whose activities fall within the following:Medical and/or social services for disadvantaged children and their familiesMedical and/or social services for children and families affected by severe health problemsHoop-A-Paluza generally awards several grants to a variety of children-focused organizations each year. Since its founding in 2002, Hoop-A-Paluza has raised almost $2.5 million to support children's charities in the NJ/NY area.Hoop-A-Paluza, Inc. is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and is registered as a charity with the State of New Jersey (Reg. #CH2203000).
