Nonprofit Organization Management - Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States
HIM4Her Ministries is a non-profit organization fueled by many volunteers pouring out their time and talent. Together we are working to help reduce recidivism, give offenders hope and a second chance, and to equip ALL women to live a victorious life in Jesus Christ! We believe God has called HIM4Her Ministries to reach all women, everywhere, with the love of Christ. When women experience the freedom found in Jesus Christ they are fully alive to receive everything God has created for them to become! Our founder, Shug Bury, has been encouraging men and women in prisons and rehabilitation centers around the world for over a decade. She boldly proclaims a message of hope and healing. Ushering those forgotten in darkness to claim back what is theirs…a resurrected, victorious life! We provide mentorship to inmates on their road to re-entry with our HIM4Her Mentorship Program. HIM4Her is a faith-based program bridging the gap between women leaving prison and the resources of re-entry organizations, housing opportunities, mentors and community support. We also have a housing program for women leaving prison. HIM4Her Housing helps bridge the transition from prison life to community life physically, financially, emotionally and spiritually for women who are ready for a new beginning. This Christian Sober Home provides access to a beautiful six bedroom home in a rural setting, provides weekly support by a HIM4Her female Christian mentor, and encourages accountability to a sober lifestyle. We host HIM4Her Radio: Women's Hot Topics. This podcast is designed to encourage women to pursue their faith in the midst of challenging situations, tough relationships and just normal everyday life! The show is available digitally on podcast and also broadcast on AM radio across multiple states reaching people inside and outside of prison with the love of Christ.
