Not for profit and inclusive of all faiths and cultures, Hope For The Living has only one agenda: to improve the lives of the poor and needy in Africa. We add value to the lives of poor and needy Africans by: 1. Relieving poverty - we reach out to the poorest of the poor in Africa and provide them the basic necessities of food, shelter and clothing. At Hope, we believe that the right to these necessities is fundamental. 2. Providing educational equality to the poor - we offer scholarships, bursaries, and prizes for scholastic achievements to economically disadvantaged youths and children in Africa, so that these children can reach their full potential and be better participants in their communities and the world at large. 3. Increasing access to education - we build and operate schools, libraries and other educational facilities in Africa. 4. Providing economic justice to the poor - we work to restore human worth and dignity by putting the poor and needy in Africa on the path to economic independence. We equip economically disadvantaged Africans with vocational training skills and set them up with self-sustaining income generating projects. 5. Promoting cultural understanding - we work to increase global awareness of the plight of the poor and needy in Africa. In North America: 2000 Sheppard Ave. West Suite 1205, Toronto, ON. Canada.
