iChange Model United Nations Conference is a non-profit organization in China founded in 2013, and its mission is to help today's young people in China understand more about this world. It promotes the development of China's MUN activities as well. iChange currently has more than 20 staffs in charge of the daily operations.iChange provides the traditional MUN conferences, Crisis Simulation, and also the new designed Real-World Simulation (RWS) activities. Specifically, the Real-World Simulation combines the Crisis Simulation and Warfare Simulation (commonly known as Wargames) together to restore the real world politics, diplomacy, and also wars. We use this new activity to improve participants' decision-making ability, as well as their team work spirits. In 2014, iChange organized its first national conference in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China, from July 15th to 18th. There were more than 100 delegates attending our conference and we designed seven committees, including four National Cabinets, the United Nations Security Council, the European Union Branch and the Media and Press Center. In 2015, from July 25th to 28th, iChange held its second annual conference, and more than 150 delegates and academic directors attended. What's more, iChange first held an Academic Forum this year, and this year's topic is ‘Mainland and Taiwan: Cross-straits Relation'. We invited the Mainland and Taiwan relations scholar, Shelley Rigger, who is the Brown Professor of East Asian Politics at Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina, to come to our conference and join our discussion.
