IOCPR (International Organization for Cancer Prevention and Research) is a non-profit organization established in several countries of the European Union, in Balkans, and the USA, which coordinates research projects and educates people in the area of prevention and measures to reduce negative environmental exposures which can potentially lead to cancer development. The research projects we are coordinating are initiated by elite health institutions and organizations, including leading medical and academic institutions in the countries where the studies are carried out. These institutions are the carrying out the projects, and IOCPR acts as a liaison connecting the institutions withing a country and internationally in order to ensure the highest quality of collected materials and data and their analyses. We have been involved in organization and conduct of several large studies, and our greatest achievements also include facilitation of continual professional education at prestigious institutions in Europe and the USA of young investigators who were involved in these studies. IOCPR is also involved in obtaining funds required to carry out research projects, maintaining the database of foundations awarding cancer research grants, as well as advising the experts on where to submit their projects for funding.
