Jamia Queer Collective is an independent student-run initiative which aims provide an LGBTQIA+ and ally inclusive community in Jamia Millia Islamia.Our main objectives are to increase awareness and understanding of gender and sexuality, and to provide an inclusive space that enables and empowers people to be who they truly are. Apart from conducting seminars, workshops, panel discussions and movie screenings, one of our the main goals is to start informal gatherings that encourage dialogues between people from different backgrounds in a comfortable and non-judgmental environment.
