L'Avenir Toastmasters is the ultimate cultural immersion experience, bringing together English and French language. Our mission is to provide a safe environment where our members, who come from all over the world, can help each other improve their communication skills in both languages.At a typical meeting we have prepared speeches, table topics and evaluations in both English and French, sometimes with members speaking in their native languages (whichever of the two languages that is), and sometimes practicing the language they are learning or perfecting. In all cases, members learn from immersing themselves in the other language, and they learn from the insightful feedback given in the club. If you are a French-speaker wanting to improve your English, or an English speaker who is wanting to perfect your French or a Francophone wanting to reconnect with you French roots, L'Avenir is the club for you!
