Currently, only umbilical cord stem cell products from specific laboratories and suppliers are approved. (To get approval on a lab or supplier not currently covered, all we need is the lab/supplier's information so we can verify their compliance and add them to our coverage). This is an ancillary policy that complements your current medical malpractice policy, it does not replace individual medical malpractice coverage for you and your practice. Should your individual medical malpractice insurance be Canceled, your ancillary, stem cell coverage will automatically be Canceled as well, effective the cancellation date of your individual medical malpractice insurance.
