Limiting the access to education, the burning of farmlands and limited access to health care have ravaged the Miskitu Nation.MISSION: Miskitu Nation Foundation (MNF) calls upon humanity to save our climate and restore human rights of indigenous peoples by CHALLENGING industrialization and legislative injustices through a grassroots human rights and climate movement.VISION: MNF saves the climate by restoring original farming traditions, respecting the sovereignty of indigenous peoples, where thriving bio-diverse ecosystems and traditions are honored and protected.VALUES: We are committed to human rights and Mother Earth, to uphold the symbiotic link between people and our environment, to stand up for climate justice, and to use money as energy to heal instead of devastate.
