MHHF is a service-oriented organization of volunteers who are passionate about Missouri's hunting history. MHHF introduces youth to an outdoor way of life featuring our hunting tradition, the shooting sports and the enjoyment of being in Missouri's natural landscape.Through education and hands-on training, youth learn how to safely handle firearms, gain an understanding of wildlife conservation and are introduced to the many enjoyable aspects of Missouri's hunting heritage. Our MissionThe mission of the Federation shall be to work in concert with similar minded entities to enhance the Missouri hunter education program by striving to ensure the continuation of the hunting tradition.Our PurposeThe purpose of the Federation shall be to perpetuate our hunting heritage by promoting a safe and ethical participation in hunting and in the shooting sports.This shall be accomplished by delivering a course of instruction in hunter education, which includes the safe handling of firearms, scientific research-based wildlife conservation, and an introduction to hunting, while improving the professional skills of volunteer hunter education instructors.
