Uniquely OrphFund -OrphFund is a 100% non-profit, volunteer based organisation caring for vulnerable & orphaned children around the world.We run grass root, self-sustaining, community projects that provide shelter, nutrition, health care, support, education and training in some of the world's poorest countries such as Sierra Leone, Uganda, Kenya, Cambodia & Tibet. Our Children -Since 2006 we have been caring for some of the world's most vulnerable children. Whether orphaned or abandoned by war, disease or poverty, our children have the greatest need for care. We witness amazing changes in the children we support. Our centres create an environment where children flourish under the support of our care workers and teachers. We provide a safe place where our children can grow with their new family of friends and the promise of a bright future.Our Projects -We work in places where others fear to tread, from rubbish tips to remote villages way off the beaten track. In doing so we ensure we are reaching out to children and communities who have never been offered support before.OrphFund is proud to be assisting communities with the help they need with projects ranging from children's villages, schools & training facilities, community health projects to self supporting micro businesses, farms & co-operatives. Our Supporters-OrphFund is a charity that is a little bit different. We feel strongly about effective giving and have witnessed in the field many of the larger NGO's inefficient management of resources & donations.We are committed to offer our supporters transparency and direct, hands on aid-work that has the greatest impact on those who need our help.Our fundraising is direct & at grass root level. We operate only with our supporter's generosity with donations, sponsorships, goods & volunteer contributions.Being purely volunteer based we ensure that 100% of donations reach children living in poverty.
