Pimp My Village Details
Pimp My Village is a new campaign by Stichting Ghanasi, which was founded by actress and presenter Georgina Kwakye. Its goal is to support projects that have been set up by migrants in their countries of origin. Projects focus on education, health care and community development. The idea is that migrants know the best of both worlds and are therefore better equipped to use their knowledge effectively, set up projects in their home countries and achieve good results. It is Pimp My Village's goal to improve facilities in villages and rural areas in the Third World. With the right tools, these communities will have a better chance to create a sustainable livelihoods, decrease poverty and in turn improve their economic positions.Pimp My Village offers donors the opportunity to directly support projects in Africa that are part of the Pimp My Village world.
