PoggioVerrano is an artisanal winery owned by Francesco Bolla, the 4th generation of the Bolla family, and his daughter Valentina. The estate is located in the Maremma region, the Southern part of the Tuscan Coast. Thanks to our 27 ha of vineyards on rocky calcareous and clay soil at 170–300m on sea level, south-southwest exposure and 15km distance from the Mediterranean sea, we are able to produce the highest quality grapes. Hand picked grapes are given temperature-controlled fermentation and slow maceration inside the fully underground gravity-flow cellar; then wines are left to mature in French oak before being bottle aged.
