Remedy enables public services to work with survivors of gross abuses of human rights such as torture and trafficking. Survivors may be very traumatised and are usually foreign nationals under immigration control. This can present a complex set of problems for the public services supporting them.By bringing together the untapped skills of bilingual communities, the expertise of UK public service providers and the specialist knowledge of expert human rights organisations, Remedy aims to improve access to rehabilitative services for these vulnerable communities.We provide:Training in partnership with expert human rights agenciesSpecialist interpreting and advocacyGeneral support and advice to public services working with gross abuses of human rights
