Rodney Scott's BBQ is rooted in the tradition of South Carolina whole-hog barbecue that James Beard Award-winning pitmaster Rodney Scott has been practicing since the age of 11. Rodney partnered with Nick Pihakis of Pihakis Restaurant Group in 2017 to open the first location of RSBBQ in Charleston, SC. The restaurant quickly garnered much acclaim, earning a spot on Bon Appetit's list of 50 Best New Restaurants, and shortly after, Rodney was named Best Chef: Southeast by the James Beard Foundation. Whole hog is the king of the menu at Rodney Scott's BBQ, and the menu highlights tried-and-true Southern favorites at their finest.Rodney and Nick are now opening their SECOND location in Birmingham, AL!
