The Sheet Metal Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) of San Diego, represented by equal members from labor and management, is dedicated to providing the men and women entering and working in the sheet metal industry with the training necessary for them to succeed. The apprenticeship, adminstrered by the JATC and accredited through Palomor College, is a five year program combining comprehensive classroom instruction and paid on-the-job training. Upon completion of the program, graduates become full-fleged journey-level sheet metal workers.
