The Burke-Paine Society empowers Americans to forge a new political culture. We bring together bipartisan groups of Americans in salon-style discussions and give them the educational resources they need to rediscover the brilliance of the American political system.Our vision is to operate salons in all fifty states and provide quality educational content to millions of Americans. We want Americans to ignite a political renaissance that restores their confidence in each other and the future. Changing the political culture requires changing the values that guide political discourse. BPS believes that inclusiveness, empathy, intellectual curiosity, and humility form the cornerstone of productive cross-party dialogue. Adherence to these values during BPS salon discussions will begin to change the political culture.
