The KSA is the only body that exists to regulate and support the South African kitchen industry and its clients. It was started in 1989 as a non-profit organisation aimed at supporting both the industry and the consumer. The association has a fundamental mission and vision. ‘To create a professional and stable trading environment in which the industry can prosper and consumers can enjoy peace of mind.' and ‘To be a national organisation, representing the countries reputable kitchen manufacturers and associated product suppliers with the purpose of offering the public peace of mind by association as well as facilitating solution driven resolutions between members and consumers in areas of dispute.'
