The Robin Cancer Trust (The RCT) aims to increase early detection of Germ Cell Cancer (including Testicular & Ovarian cancers) in 16-35 year olds by increasing awareness of the signs & symptoms through targeted campaigns, talks and social media. Germ Cell cancers have some of the highest survival rates of any cancer if detected early (at stage 1) at over 90% and therefore The RCT believes that awareness is the key to saving the lives of young men & women. The RCT was founded in 2012 after the untimely death of Robin Freeman, who passed away at the age of just 24, after a 10-month battle with germ cell cancer.
