Savitri is a family Trust driven by the belief that every person has a right to good health. For over twenty years we've funded programmes that improve the well-being of individuals and communities in India and the UK. As philanthropists, we have an opportunity and a responsibility to create positive social change. This goes beyond grant giving. We take great care to ensure that the decisions we make support communities to thrive. Through our healthcare work in India we've seen the effect of climate change and poor environmental conditions on human health. In response to this, we have expanded our work to include environmental preservation and protection. We take a holistic approach, supporting community led projects and long-term, strategic initiatives.We believe in collaboration and are committed to being part of a movement fighting for health equity and climate justice. We are supported by the Waney Family, their friends and others who want to see effective philanthropy in action. 100% of all donations we receive go to projects.
