The Shakti Project was an initiative started during the covid-19 lockdown which aims to help tackle period poverty in India, especially in times of crisis. Shakti aimed to combat this problem through advocacy and raising awareness about the surrounding stigmas, as well as field work - providing menstrual hygiene products to women in need. We also are committed to being eco-friendly and finding sustainable solutions wherever possible. Provided menstrual hygiene and care kits to over 1500 women - female migrant workers, women at homeless shelters across Delhi, and flood-affected areas in Bihar.
