Tint Dance Festival is the business entity behind the festival of the same name. Tint is an annual dance festival focused on providing dancers of color opportunity to perform and to build a supportive dancers of color community. The founders of the Tint Dance Festival as performers in the Seattle dance community observed that people of color were not well represented in dance performance. They were determined to change that dynamic by providing an annual dance performance to nurture and support dancers of color. The Tint Dance Festival vision is to raise the critical consciousness around diversity and representation in the greater Seattle community so that artists and audiences will be inspired to dialogue about their own diverse experiences around identity. The 1st Annual Tint Dance Festival is scheduled for February 9 – 10, 2018 at the Erickson Theater.Tint Dance Festival is powered by Shunpike.
