BACKGROUND Executive Summary Vusa Umuntu Community Service Is a Section 21 Non-Profit Organisation based In Germiston with a long term goal to reach other Areas within South Africa. With Section 18 A in accordance with the law requirement, PBO no stipulated above... The Organisation is directed by young enthusiastic and passionate individuals, majority of who are the Youth, whom has throughout the year's demonstrated passion coupled with love for the people in our community. The project is seeking to achieve transformation largely in the affected communities particularly to enhance the living conditions for the poor of the poorest in our society, in particular previously disadvantaged group those of us who inherited poverty circle, by constantly rolling out relevant programs. Our objective is to mainstream youth into the economy of our City with a long term plan to realise adequate economic participation in our community thus largely SA. What VUCS has done VUCS has over time successfully achieved gathering a total of 300 young people in different areas actively participating in the community striving for a socially just community; implementing programs which aims to eradicate the excessive drug use in our community thus any other social ills affecting the normal growth of our society. Further VUCS has achieved providing food parcels to 600 families as a temporally measure while exploring mechanism to roll out programs that aims to influence community participation in order to enable self-sustainability economically.
