WE AfriHug is a project of Youthmakers Hub. It is an educational project being implemented in Africa every year since 2018, with a different edition. According to Nelson Mandela, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world". Our Vision is to bring closer Africa & Europe & our Mission to empower Youth, provide capacity building & foster synergies between African and European Institutions. Our Values are: Thinking global - acting local, Afrocentric approach, Collaboration, Co-creation, Respect for local communities.The framework of the project goes along with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030 (SDGs) with a focus on SDG4 "Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all" and targets 4.3, 4.4, 4.7, 4B and SDG 17 "Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development" and target 17.9 and the African Union Agenda 2063 with a focus on Aspiration 1 "A Prosperous Africa, based on Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development" and 7 "An Africa as A Strong, United, Resilient and Influential Global Player and Partner" and Goals 2 "Well Educated Citizens and Skills revolution underpinned by Science, Technology and Innovation", 18 "Engaged and Empowered Youth and Children" and 19 "Africa as a major partner in global affairs and peaceful co-existence".Model:- Raising awareness about Erasmus+ - Erasmus+ Capacity Building - Matching partnersMethodology:- Interactive workshops- Non-formal education practices- Experience sharingTarget groups:-Higher Education Institutions-Civil Society Organizations (incl.
