The organization is presented as a non-commercial legal entity, which is directed to support wine tourism development in Georgia, participate in wine tourism projects and activities and collaborate with governmental organizations, as well as sharing experience and vision with the initial stage units and engage them in sustainable tourism development. Mission: Create business environment in wine tourism sector, support qualification and awareness rising, as well as maintain business expansion and information exchange. Goals: In order to attract foreign tourists, represent Georgia as wine tourism country on the travel markets worldwide. Marketing activities and wine tours popularization for supporting in-country wine tourism development. Collaboration with wine sector organizations. Supporting wine tourism educational projects and participation in wine tourism training program development. Supporting economic efficiency, wine tourism infrastructure, small and medium enterprise development and promotion employment in wine tourism units. Improvement of service quality among wine units, active engagement in capacity building projects. Collaboration with the representatives of tourism industry: associations, wine guides, hotels, food companies, wine bars, travel agencies and other suppliers. Providing consulting service for the association members. Attraction of international donor organization for funding wine tourism development projects: infrastructure, marketing, informational centers, guides/agencies, workshops, field trainings, etc. Business-ethics standard formation. Cooperation with the media. Formation of common vision and strategic plan for wine tourism development. Since 2012 association founders and partners have been actively participating in wine tourism development projects and activities.
