Nonprofit Organization Management - Athens, , Greece
The Foundation was formed in 2003 by Constantine Andreou in an attempt to help local young artists enter the world of fine arts and bring that world closer to the general public, especially to kids. Sculpting, painting and etching are all fields Andreou had excelled in throughout his long carrier in both France and Greece for which he was awarded numerous prestigious awards not limited to the Pevsner Award and the title of Officier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. The foundation, honoring it's founder's wishes after his death, has initiated an awards program with success. Throughout the year, events and exhibitions are organized to promote both the work of Andreou and drive awareness toward the foundation's activities. Currently the board members of the foundation consist of a highly regarded art critic and art history professor, experienced sculptor and fine arts professor, an architect, a collector and even a computer scientist.
